No new updates so far this week. All of Baby H's paperwork has been submitted to court in the past week....so we are just waiting to be assigned a birthmother/finder court date. We really don't have a good idea of what the timeline is. We have seen some adoptive parents, through our agency, find out a court date 2 weeks after they were submitted while others wait 2 months. Ethiopia doesn't have a real consistent way of assigning these dates -
how long you wait can really come down to how you fall in the stack of
paperwork on the judges desk. So please join us in prayer that we will be on the top of aforementioned stack and will get a court date sooner rather than later!
We have watched God work through the timing of this adoption process already and are trusting that He will see us through until the end.
